Lorraine Burns - Principal Teacher
I have been teaching privately since 2004. I have gained my LAMDA Medals in Bronze, Silver and Gold in both Acting and Verse and Prose with Distinctions & Merits.. My Pupils work towards the LAMDA examinations (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) and range from ages 5 - 17. The lessons can be individual or in pairs. I am passionate about teaching and have an excellent bond with all of my pupils. My pupils are all taught to enhance their individuality. I work in two schools as a freelance Drama Teacher.

In March 2024 I started working @ BRANWOOD PREPARARTORY SCHOOL in Eccles. This is also a warm and friendly Independent school. I have started lessons for the KG2 and these are working in groups as well as 1-1 and shared lessons for the older ones. A private centre has been set up for the school. The children are eager to challenge themselves.
I also run an after school Drama Club of which of which we put on a performance twice a year for the parents to come and watch.
In October 2020 I started working @ CLEVELANDS PREPARATORY SCHOOL IN BOLTON. This is a warm and friendly I`Thendependent school. The children are happy and eager to learn new skills. Helping their confidence grow. I have set up a private centre for the school.
I am not training 'Hollywood movie Stars' just 'confident kids', therefore making 'confident adults of the future'.

All the children in both schools really enjoy their lessons and I make my lessons as fun and engaging as I can. From memory games, improvisation, enhancing their reading and imagination. Sharing an enjoyment in what they are doing.
I love teaching these young adults of the future and nurturing their skills, some have the dream to be on stage and some just do it to gain life skills and a sense of belief in themselves.
My pupils work hard at what they do and achieve amazing results with fabulous comments from the examiners to help them grow with pride and confidence, with the knowledge that they have the ability to achieve their desired results.
